Our four-year-old was prescribed this, plus glucosamine, omega oils and a 20% loss in weight, after being diagnosed with arthritis in both hips. I like the high-quality packaging and especially the air-tight sealing strip (I haven't tried the food!). Dog likes the food. We started him on the serving recommended on the packaging for his target weight (i.e., 20% below his weight at the time); but he started putting on weight. Long story short, he's now on about 50% of the recommended serving and on target to reach his lower weight target after about six months of weight reduction.
Whether it's the food and/or the other changes in his regime, our four-legged friend does indeed seem more active and comfortable than before starting the new regime. Result!
